Solaris Bus & Coach S.A. and Greece’s largest electric power producer PPC S.A. announced the signing of a 3-year Memorandum of Understanding, aiming to explore their potential cooperation in the sector of integrated urban transport solutions in the field of electro-mobility, in Greece and other areas to be mutually agreed.
Within this framework of cooperation, PPC, fully harmonized with European de-carbonization policies, set under its auspices the event «Electric Urban Mobility» held by Solaris on Monday, November 20th, 2017 in Athens International Airport, Eleftherios Venizelos.
The signing of the Memorandum took place on November 21st, in the presence of the President of the Polish Republic, H.E. Andrzej Duda and representatives of the Greek State, during Mr. Duda’s official 2-day visit in Greece, at the invitation of the President of the Greek Republic, H.E. Prokopios Pavlopoulos. Mr. A. Duda, and the accompanying delegation, attended the Greek-Polish business conference "Innovative Green Technologies" organized in “Stavros Niarchos” Foundation Cultural Center. The signing of the Memorandum followed high-level lunch session of the Polish President with Polish and Greek business entrepreneurs.
