With effect from 1st July, Solaris owners Solange and Krzysztof Olszewski and the company’s management board have appointed Eberhard Wolters as executive board member for Marketing, Sales and Aftersales of Solaris Bus & Coach.
With effect from 1st July, Solaris owners Solange and Krzysztof Olszewski and the company’s management board have appointed Eberhard Wolters as executive board member for Marketing, Sales and Aftersales of Solaris Bus & Coach.
Eberhard Wolters will be responsible for the Marketing, Sales and Aftersales departments of Solaris Bus & Coach. Zbigniew Palenica, who has been holding held this position on an interim basis, will manage the Rolling Stock department.
“The fact that Eberhard Wolters will join our company as a new member of the management board will undoubtedly contribute to even more effective implementation of our sales strategy as well as further Solaris expansion on international markets. Not only do we aim to strengthen the position of the Solaris brand in countries where we are already present, but we will also work to sign up customers in new markets. Eberhard Wolters’ business experience will certainly help us achieve these goals,” says Dr. Andreas Strecker, CEO of Solaris Bus & Coach.
Eberhard Wolters has worked in the automotive industry from the very start of his career. He joined Robert Bosch after graduating from university and was employed in the company’s German and Belgian offices. Over the years, he held managerial positions at Recaro, Heraeus and Eberspächer. At Eberspächer, he was appointed General Manager of the air-conditioning division.
Beside Eberhard Wolters, the Solaris Bus & Coach executive management board will consist of CEO Dr. Andreas Strecker, Deputy CEO Dr. Dariusz Michalak (Research & Development), Krystyna Woźniak (Human Resources), Paweł Kaczalski (Production), Zbigniew Palenica (Rolling Stock) and Paweł Hajduk (Finance & Investment).
